See Photo From Donald Trump's Victory Situation Room

Donald Trump is a reflection of the real world. This photo of the last moments before Hillary Clinton called to congratulate him has got people talking; it's obvious in the pic that no black man or woman was close to Trump in his situation room.

Anyway, after his victory was confirmed, he declared that he would work for all Americans:

A new America under Mr. Trump for the next 4 years will be interesting to watch, observe and visit.

Suspended Edo Monarch Sues Oshiomhole, Demands N1bn

The traditional ruler of Uromi in Edo State, Ojuromi of Uromi, Anselm Eidenojie II, has instituted a legal action against Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole, and 11 others over his suspension for one year as the traditional ruler of the community by the Edo State Government.

The state government had earlier suspended the monarch for seven days for allegedly assaulting one Betty Okoebor during the September 28 governorship election in Esan North-East Local Government Area. The government had directed him to apologise to the woman within the period of the seven-day suspension or risk dethronement.

But in another development, the state executive council, in a letter dated November 4, 2016, and signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Julius Ihonvbere, extended the traditional ruler’s suspension to one year.

It also stripped him of all the privileges and rights of the Ojuromi of Uromi,
citing Section 28(1) of the Traditional Rulers and Chiefs Law (1979), adding that his remuneration from the five per cent monthly allocation to the local government shall be appropriated and donated to orphanages during the period.

But the traditional ruler, through his counsel, Benjamin Iruobe, urged the court to declare that the action of the governor (second respondent) amounted to recklessness and abuse of office, was unconstitutional, unlawful, actionable and without a just cause.

Other respondents in the suit are the state Commissioner of Police, Assistant Inspector-General of Police (Zone 5); the Inspector-General of Police, the Nigeria Police Force, one Betty Okoebor and one Matthew Okoebor.

The plaintiff, in the suit instituted in pursuance to Order Two and Four of the Fundamental Rights Procedure Rules, 2009, under the Administration of Criminal Justice Act, 2015, among others, requested an order of the court for the enforcement of his rights under the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, in terms of the relief sought in the statement in support of his application.

The monarch also prayed the court to order that the sum of N1bn be paid to him as compensation for damages against the respondents jointly and severally and as a reparation for the alleged assault, torture, arrest, detention and harassment against him in the course of their alleged unlawful acts.

He further urged the court to grant an injunction restraining the defendants by themselves, agents, servants and or privies or such other persons from oppressing him or imposing any inhibition or restrictions on his freedom of movement or his agents and family, in respect of the complaint.

Fayose Visits Fani-Kayode In Detention At EFCC

Governor Ayo Fayose on Tuesday said the continued detention of former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani Kayode by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is an act of vendetta.

Speaking with newsmen after his visit, the governor called on the federal government to stop playing god and allow the former minister to enjoy bail earlier granted to him by the court.

The governor questioned the rationale behind Fani-Kayode's continued detention since the EFCC has resolved to arraign him on November 10.

He said: “The continued detention of the former minister was to demoralize him but unfortunately, the man was in high spirit when I met him.

“He is not worried, after all, a man must be brave. We share prayer together that this persecution will come to pass and it will surely come to pass.

“I am here to visit and identify my friend, Chief Fani-kayode. I came into Abuja yesterday and I am being my brother’s keeper, and I felt that within the 24 hours that I will spend in Abuja I have to visit him.

“I met him in an office. They brought him in an office to see me. He is in good spirit. But when you state, there are two different issues. If you say state of mind, he is in good spirit. But I don’t accept where he sleeps and the condition in which he is kept but speaking with, he is in good spirit."

He continued, "It is obvious that the commission has made up their mind to charge him on the November 10. And it shows that they have made up their mind even before I visited him. He has been granted bail before and I would have expected them to allow him to go and come back since he didn’t run away. So I just believe that this over zealousness will cease and get better.”

"Watching the US election results come in, I couldn't help but think of my grandchildren" - Richard Branson

As the world tries to come to terms with the fact that Donald Trump has been elected as the President of the United States of America, founder of Virgin Group, Sir Richard Branson, took to his blog to share his thoughts on the historic election. The 66-year-old, who previously said he feels that Trump would be a disastrous president, after his 'bizarre' encounter with the business mogul, said:
"Watching the US election results come in, I couldn’t help but think of my grandchildren. As so many parents and grandparents must be thinking, what kind of world do we want our children to grow up into? What type of message does Trump’s victory send to young people about the behaviours, principles and attitude to others required to succeed in life?

My biggest concerns include the possibility of an increasingly reactionary Supreme Court, while hard-earned progress on equality, women’s rights, immigration and climate change are at risk.

The last 12 months have shown just how divided Americans are on nearly any social and economic issue today. The tone of the campaign trail has reinforced that division. The vicious personal attacks and stinging barbs have made me wonder if political discourse can sink any lower than this.

However, now is not the time to create more division. We do so sadly, but have to accept the outcome of the election. We must hope that some of Trump’s rhetoric was just that and common sense and the checks of the democratic system will prevail. American leadership in this multipolar world has never been in greater demand – whether to fill the vacuum of power gradually devastating Syria and Iraq and forcing more refugees to flee their countries. Or to help move the world’s leading economies from climate talk to climate action and to conserve the ocean from irreparable damage - perhaps two of the most daunting challenges the world has ever faced.

Yet America can only rise to the challenge if she stands united. A divided nation cannot lead, nor can it inspire. My parents often talked with great admiration of the “Greatest Generation” of World War II, a generation that came together as one in a time of great crisis, harnessing its fantastic strength for the greater good, setting aside differences and seeking common ground across the entire political spectrum.

"It became the America that was greeted as a liberator and moral authority the world over; the America that welcomed the world’s refugees, the “huddled masses yearning to breathe free” with open arms. It took on those humanitarian duties and seized the tremendous economic and social benefits of an open and positive society for decades. It was America that put a man, twelve men in fact, on the moon, demonstrating that a shared vision and purpose can move mountains.
At its best, America is a democracy that thrives on constructive discourse and functioning checks and balances; not on misinformation, hate, and stubborn obstruction. It is a country that has prospered by welcoming the world to shape their lives there and follow the American dream. The words of two great American leaders come to mind:

"The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends towards justice." – Martin Luther King Jr.

"‘And this, too, shall pass away.’ How much it expresses! How chastening in the hour of pride! - how consoling in the depths of affliction! ‘And this, too, shall pass away.’" – Abraham Lincoln.

Momentous challenges lie ahead to heal the divide and reinvigorate the belief and faith in the political system. This election has undoubtedly caused lasting damage, both to America’s collective psyche and to the political will of its leaders to collaborate. But there is much to be done: to protect democratic processes, to stand up to intolerance, and to support each other in these challenging times. After all, it is not up to one man to shape the world we live in – it is up to all of us."

People Running from America after Donald Trumps Victory?... Canada’s Immigration web crashes

Why are people still afraid when the US President-elect, Donald Trump, has said he would work for the good of all Americans? Or maybe it's illegal immigrants that are in panic mood.

Canada’s immigration website has crashed as Americans watched Donald Trump take the lead and then win the US election. Searches for “move to Canada” and “immigrate to Canada” spiked on Tuesday night as election returns started favouring the Republican nominee.

The website for Citizenship and Immigration Canada was down at the same time, and has suffered several outages since. Many want to find their way into Canada.

Amid financial markets mayhem in the wake of Mr Trump’s shocking victory, reaction across the world started pouring in. The head of Russia’s sovereign wealth fund, Kirill Dmitriev, said Trump’s victory would reduce geopolitical confrontations.

His words: “A less confrontational US foreign policy will unlock major opportunities for joint (Russia-US) trade and investment.”

President Barrack Obama has also called to congratulate Trump as the President-elect.

Former Kenyan refugee becomes America's first Somali-American Muslim Woman Legislator

Ilhan Omar, who spent four years as a Kenyan refugee, has made history in the US by becoming the first Somalia-American Muslim woman Legislator at the election that took place at Minnesota on Tuesday.

The 34 year former refugee traveled to the US at the age of 12 after fleeing the Somali civil war.

Speaking after her remarkable victory, Omar who was representing the District 60B in Minneapolis said:

‘It’s the beginning of something new. This district has a legacy of making history. I am excited for our progressive values and to be able to be on the ground at the Capitol representing the diverse people of my district and being a champion with them and for them.’

TB Joshua's Prophesy: Hillary Clinton Actually Won US Presidential Election

I laugh when I observe some misguided people attacking Prophet TB Joshua that he predicted a "fake" outcome for the US presidential election between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. Even those who don't know anything about prophesies were joining to attack a man of God. Sigh!

I even had to caution Reno Omokri this morning, telling him that as a pastor he should know better than to attack a Prophet. Why? TB Joshua said Hillary Clinton would win the US election with a very small margin

TB Joshua never said Hillary Clinton would win Electoral College. In fact, TB Joshua probably do not know what his called Electoral College because other countries of the world were elections are conducted (including Nigeria) there is nothing like Electoral College. The winner is determined by normal voting and Hillary Clinton defeated Trump in the normal voting.

As a Prophet, TB Joshua saw that Mrs. Clinton won the election by a small margin during voting and he said exactly what he saw. Simple!

So was TB Joshua right? Yes! Hillary Clinton won the US election by a small marging.

Latest report from America...
Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton finds herself moving ahead in the popular vote, according to the latest numbers that emerged this afternoon.

Mrs Clinton got 59,293,087 votes nationally, to beat Trump who has 59,131,346 — she defeated him with a small margin of about 160,000. What this means is that, because of what they call Electoral College in America, Mrs. Clinton will become the fifth U.S. presidential candidate to win the highest vote, she defeated her opponent, but couldn't make it to the white house due to Electoral College issue.

So those mocking Prophet TB Joshua ignorantly, be careful for your own good.
